Farewell Iftar dinner held in honor of DPO Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) A grand farewell Iftar dinner was hosted in honor of outgoing District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada who has been transferred from Dera Ismail Khan.

According to police spokesman, the event was organized by Syed Ashfaq Anwar, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ismail Khan.

The ceremony was attended by Daud Khan, Commissioner Dera Division; Muhammad Abu Bakar, Station Commander; Abdul Nasir Khan, Deputy Commissioner Dera; along with senior police officers, SPs Investigation, CTD officials, SDPOs, and officers from other security agencies.

Speakers at the event praised DPO Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada for his exemplary leadership during his tenure.

They highlighted his significant contributions toward police reforms, effective coordination among law enforcement agencies, and maintaining high morale within the police force.

His professional services were widely appreciated and acknowledged with respect.

Addressing the gathering, Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada said that serving in Dera Ismail Khan was a matter of pride for him. He expressed gratitude for the cooperation, support, and affection extended by the regional police and the people, saying that these memories would always remain close to his heart.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Regional Police Officer Syed Ashfaq Anwar and other distinguished guests presented honorary shields to Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada and conveyed their best wishes for his future responsibilities.
