Family of ten falls sick after eating toxic food in Qasimabad

Ten people of a family were found unconscious after consuming contaminated food in Sahrish Nagar area of Qasimabad on Wednesday

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Ten people of a family were found unconscious after consuming contaminated food in Sahrish Nagar area of Qasimabad on Wednesday.

The fainted people were rushed to Taluka Hospital where they were given emergency medical treatment.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Pir Ghulam Hussain victims have been provided medical assistance and all people are out of danger. As per initial report, affected people had consumed leftover food of marriage ceremony.

Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zain-ul-Aabdin Memon taking notice of incident has directed Sindh Food Authority to inspect relevant catering shop.
