LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Punjab National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested an alleged fake spiritual healer from Lahore and recovered sensitive data of dozens of women along with hundreds of objectionable videos from his possession.

According to officials, the suspect, identified as Ali Ahmad, a resident of Sanda area of Lahore, operated an electrical goods shop in Anarkali Bazaar. Investigators said that despite leading an apparently ordinary life, he had established an extensive online network offering so-called spiritual healing and Istikhara services through social media platforms.

The accused allegedly contacted women facing personal difficulties through Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp, gained their trust, and obtained their personal information and photographs. He later used the material to blackmail them, officials said.

According to NCCIA spokesman, forensic analysis of the suspect’s mobile phones revealed 763 objectionable videos, 1,338 photographs and personal data related to around 40 women.

The spokesman said that 19 victims had so far been identified through their Names and phone numbers, while efforts were underway to trace the remaining affected women.

During the suspect’s physical remand, authorities also recovered two mobile phones, internet routers and a book used for conducting Istikhara.

Punjab NCCIA Director Muhammad Ali Waseem said that strict action would be taken against individuals involved in exploiting women and that all available resources would be utilised to ensure exemplary punishment for such offenders.

He urged citizens, particularly women, to avoid trusting strangers on social media and individuals making online claims of spiritual healing or religious guidance.
