Fake faith healer, son arrested in blind murder case

BUREWALA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) Police arrested a fake faith healer and his son after solving the blind murder case of a kidnapped man within the limits of Sahuka police station.

According to DSP Rana Muhammad Imran, the investigation began soon after the kidnapping of Shafqat, brother of the Numberdar of 36/KB, was reported. During a search operation, police found blood traces, a shoe belonging to the victim and drag marks near Khadar Canal.

The canal was later blocked and the body of the kidnapped man was recovered.

On the directions of DPO Tasawar Iqbal, a special team led by SHO Sahuka Mirza Hasnain used modern technology and human intelligence to arrest the accused, identified as fake faith healer Imdad Hussain and his son.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to luring the victim with promises of doubling his money and warned him not to disclose the matter. On the day of the incident, they allegedly took Rs560,000 from the victim before murdering him and throwing the body into the canal to hide the crime.

Police said the case has now been successfully resolved.
