Facebook has introduced a new monetization policy that could help many content creators in Pakistan earn money more easily.

The update reduces several old requirements and gives smaller creators a better chance to qualify for earning tools on the platform. Under the new system, creators can access Facebook content monetization tools if their page receives 300,000 views within 28 days. Once they qualify, they can earn money in US dollars through videos, reels, and other content.

Previously, Facebook required creators to have at least 10,000 followers, 600,000 minutes of watch time, and multiple uploaded videos before they could apply for monetization. Many new creators struggled to meet these conditions.

Experts believe the new policy will create more opportunities for growing creators. They say the change may encourage more people to produce content and join the digital economy. However, creators must continue following Facebook community standards and platform rules to remain eligible.

Facebook has currently rolled out the feature to a limited number of users. The company plans to expand access to more accounts in the coming months.

Meanwhile, Meta has also announced plans to introduce paid subscription services across its major platforms. These include Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The company says the subscriptions will offer users extra features, advanced tools, and additional benefits.

According to early reports, Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus may cost around $3.99 per month, while WhatsApp Plus may cost about $2.99 per month. Although Meta has not officially launched these services, the move signals a broader effort to expand its sources of revenue beyond advertising.

The latest changes could benefit many Pakistani creators who want to grow their audience and earn money online. As Facebook lowers the entry barrier, more users may find new opportunities to build a career through digital content creation.
