Establishing lasting peace & stability in Balochistan top priority of Govt: CM Bugti

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2026) Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Saturday offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Mir Ghulam Qadir sports Complex, Qadirabad area of Dera Bugti, where a large number of people also offered Eid prayers with him.

On this occasion, after the prayer and sermon, the Chief Minister offered special prayers for the security, lasting peace, development and prosperity of the province, the country and the Muslim Ummah. After the Eid prayers, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti mingled with the people and exchanged warm Eid greetings with the citizens.

On this occasion, a large number of citizens shook hands with the Chief Minister, congratulated him on Eid and expressed their best wishes.

The people expressed their happiness to find the Chief Minister among them, while the youth and other citizens also took selfies with him. Later, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti met tribal elders, dignitaries and distinguished guests at his residence.

During the meeting, the traditional situation as well as the regional situation, public issues and ongoing development projects were discussed in detail.

The tribal elders congratulated the Chief Minister on Eid-ul-Fitr, thanked him for the ongoing development work in the area and appreciated the government's initiatives. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti said the holy occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr teaches us to realize unity, brotherhood, sisterhood and the needy classes.

He said the provincial government is taking serious and practical steps to ensure the welfare, social security and prosperity of the people.

The Chief Minister reiterated the resolve that establishing lasting peace and stability in Balochistan is the top priority of

the government and the journey of development would be further accelerated with the cooperation of the people.

He stressed that a strong, stable and prosperous society could be formed only by promoting mutual harmony, tolerance and solidarity.
