KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Sindh Minister and senior political leader Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Pakistan is not symbolically, but in reality, in a state of war against cross-border terrorists, and that in this war the Pakistan Army has responded with full force and courage.

He stated that the army has delivered a strong response to the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. Speaking to the media during a public Iftar dinner at Rawal House, Rahuki, Sharjeel Inam Memon said that such gatherings are not meant for political rhetoric, but to engage directly with the public and listen to their concerns, said a statement issued here on Friday.

He added that the entire nation and Pakistan’s leadership stand firmly with the armed forces.

The Senior Minister said the whole nation is proud of the bravery and sacrifices the armed forces. He further said that the Afghan regime has forgotten Pakistan’s support and has instead become a proxy of India.

He alleged that elements of the Afghan Taliban are involved in terrorist activities inside Pakistan, which the country will not tolerate. He emphasized that safeguarding Pakistan’s borders and its people remains the top priority, and that operations against terrorists will continue.
