Elderly woman killed,man injured in van–motorcycle collision

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) An elderly woman was killed and a man sustained serious injuries in a road accident after a van collided with a motorcycle on Badshahi Road on Friday.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson,the accident occurred when a van hit the motorcycle,leaving two people injured.

As a result of the collision,Sughra Bibi (80) r/o Budhewal Kho on Badshahi road died on the spot due to severe injuries.Meanwhile,Mirza Faheem (52) sustained serious injuries in the accident.

Rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the body and the injured man to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital after providing first aid.
