Elderly woman hit to death by coach

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) An elderly woman was hit to death by a speeding passenger coach, here on Thursday.

Rescue 1122 said that the woman was was crossing the road in Chak-2BC in Hasilpur tehsil of the district when the coach hit her. The victim sustained critical wounds which caused her death on the spot.

The body was shifted to hospital for completion of legal formalities. The local police have started investigation.
