Eight-year-old boy drowns in pond near Qazian, Gujjar Khan

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) An eight-year-old boy, identified as Ehsan ul Haq, was tragically drowned while bathing in a pond near the Post Office in Qazian, Gujjar Khan, Rescue 1122 reported.

Emergency teams, including one ambulance, a water rescue vehicle, and a rescue vehicle, were promptly dispatched to the scene.

A search and rescue operation was conducted, and the child’s body was recovered and handed over to his family, the spokesperson for Rescue 1122 added.
