Eight family members hospitalized due to food poisoning

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) Eight members of a family, including six children, were hospitalized after allegedly consuming milk in Basti Alamgir, a locality in Tehsil Jatoi.

According to Rescue officials, the emergency was reported to the control room and dispatched an ambulance from Shehr Sultan to the site.

Upon arrival, rescue teams found all eight suffering from persistent vomiting due to food poisoning.

The affected family members include Muhammad Shahid (31), Sajida Bibi (28), and their six children—Muzammil (9), Feroz (8), Muhammad Ayaz (6), Azhan (4), Mehreen Bibi (3), and Shah Zain (2).

Family members told rescuers that all victims fell ill shortly after consuming milk at home.

Rescue 1122 shifted all patients to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital Jatoi.
