ECP releases preliminary delimitation pists for village vouncils in 23 KP districts

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued preliminary delimitation lists for Village Councils in 23 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, initiating the process for reviewing boundaries of local government Constituencies.

According to provincial spokesperson, the lists have been made public to allow stakeholders and citizens to examine the proposed boundaries and raise objections, if any.

Complaints or objections regarding the de-limitations can be submitted to the designated authorities until March 25.

To facilitate the process, Regional Election Commissioners have been appointed as Delimitation Authorities responsible for receiving and adjudicating objections.

He said the preliminary lists can be obtained and reviewed at the offices of the respective District Election Commissioners, urging political stakeholders and residents to participate in the process to ensure transparency and fairness in the delimitation exercise.
