DSP ordered to submit inquiry report in minor assault case

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Rohillanwali police have launched an inquiry after a case was registered against two minor boys.

Police said on Sunday that complainant Jannat Bibi alleged her son, Sher Muhammad, was beaten by four minor boys with sticks and canes.

She also submitted a video purportedly showing visible signs of torture on the child.

According to police, a case was registered after the allegations were found credible, and the victim underwent a medical examination.

However, no arrests have been made as the accused are minors. On the directions of the DPO, the SDPO Circle has been tasked with conducting a transparent inquiry under personal supervision and submitting a report for further action.
