Driving licence testing process reviewed to ensure transparency

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jul, 2026) SP City Division Muhammad Nauman visited the driving licence testing facility and reviewed the ongoing driving test process.

Accompanied by DSP Traffic Muhammad Anwar Khattak and Licence Branch In-charge Muhammad Imran, he inspected the testing procedures, administrative arrangements, and candidates' practical driving assessments.

The visit was conducted on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmad. During the inspection, the officers also interacted with candidates, asking questions about driving skills and traffic regulations while highlighting the importance of safe driving practices and strict compliance with traffic laws.

SP Muhammad Nauman directed the concerned staff to ensure complete transparency and merit in the issuance of driving licences so that only qualified and competent individuals are granted licences.

He stressed that adherence to traffic laws is essential for protecting the lives and property of the public and for promoting road safety.
