Driver crushed to death

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2026) A 48-year-old tractor-trolley driver was crushed to death between two sugarcane-loaded tractor trolleys at a sugar mill on Muzaffargarh–Mondka Road, Rescue 1122 officials said on Sunday.

The incident occurred at Tandlianwala Sugar Mill when Muhammad Bilal, son of Ghulam Habib, resident of Basti Aqil Wala (Raqba Sarkari), went behind his trolley to untie the ropes to unload sugarcane.

Rescue sources said the tractor’s handbrake was not properly engaged, causing the vehicle to roll backward. As a result, Bilal was trapped between his trolley and the bumper of another tractor trolley parked behind it.

Bystanders pulled him out, but he had already succumbed to severe head injuries and abdominal crush wounds at the scene.

Rescue staff covered the body with a shroud. The heirs declined legal proceedings and refused to shift the body to hospital.
