MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) Dr Ejaz Ahmad, Associate Prof University of Education Lahore, assumed charge as Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Multan, on Saturday, pledging to introduce greater transparency, efficiency and technological innovation in the board's examination system.
In his first address after taking office, Dr Ejaz Ahmad expressed gratitude to the Punjab government for reposing confidence in him and described the assignment as a national responsibility. He said he would devote all his efforts to strengthening the institution, improving governance and enhancing the credibility of examinations.
The newly appointed chairman said the timely conduct of examinations and declaration of results, strict adherence to merit, transparency and the adoption of modern technology would remain among his top priorities.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>These measures, he said, would further reinforce the trust of students, parents and educational institutions in the board.
Dr Ahmad emphasized that BISE Multan could only be transformed into a progressive, modern and exemplary institution through teamwork and the collective commitment of its officers and employees. He added that the values of honesty, accountability, discipline and public service would be promoted across the organization.
Reaffirming his commitment to the education policy of the Punjab government, he said every possible step would be taken to improve examination services and provide better facilities to students.
The charge-taking ceremony was attended by BISE Multan Secretary Khurram Shehzad Qureshi, Controller of Examinations Dr Imran Ahmad and others.
