DPO reviews security arrangements in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq on Friday conducted a detailed review of security arrangements across the district on the occasion of Friday prayers.

The DPO inspected the security duty at China Guard and instructed officers and personnel to remain alert.

He later visited the central Imambargah Hussainia, where he reviewed security measures, checked entry and exit points, and examined installed surveillance cameras. The performance of the cameras was also verified.

Additionally, DPO Gujrat monitored the duties of police officers deployed at various mosques, briefing them to remain vigilant and responsible during their shifts to ensure a peaceful and safe environment for citizens.

He reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining law and order in the district and to utilizing all available resources to protect the lives and property of the public.
