DPO reviews security arrangements for Yaum-e-Ali (R.A) processions in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed, accompanied by SP City Division Murtaza Khan Bangash, reviewed security arrangements on the routes of processions being held in connection with Youm-e-Ali (R.A).

During the visit, the DPO inspected various points along the procession routes and assessed the security measures put in place for the occasion.

He directed police personnel deployed on duty to remain alert and perform their responsibilities with dedication and vigilance.

On the occasion, the DPO also met with the organizers and custodians of the processions and Imambargahs, discussing security-related matters in detail and gathering necessary information regarding the arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, Ziauddin Ahmed said that comprehensive and foolproof security measures have been implemented to ensure the peaceful conduct of Youm-e-Ali (R.A) processions. He added that the police are fully prepared at all times to respond to any untoward incident.
