DPO reviews security arrangements at cattle market

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Akhtar Farooq visited the cattle market established in Lalamusa in connection with Eid ul Azha and reviewed security and management arrangements.

According to police sources, the DPO inspected security measures, parking arrangements, traffic management, entry and exit points, and facilities being provided to citizens at the cattle market. He directed concerned officers to ensure foolproof security arrangements for the safety and convenience of visitors.

Speaking on the occasion, the DPO said protection of life and property of citizens visiting cattle markets would be ensured at all costs. He directed officials to keep a strict watch on suspicious persons and instructed security personnel to perform their duties with responsibility and vigilance.

He further emphasized the need to maintain a smooth traffic flow, ensure effective parking management, and provide clear guidance to visitors so that the public would not face any inconvenience.
