DPO reshuffles SHOs to strengthen policing

District Police Officer (DPO) Khanewal Muhammad Abid on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of several Station House Officers (SHOs) across the district in an administrative reshuffle aimed at improving policing and public service delivery

KHANEWAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jun, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Khanewal Muhammad Abid on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of several Station House Officers (SHOs) across the district in an administrative reshuffle aimed at improving policing and public service delivery.

Under the orders, Inspector Adil Khichi has been transferred from Police Station Sadar Khanewal and posted as SHO Police Station Sadar Mian Channu. Inspector Saad Bin Saeed has been appointed SHO Police Station Sadar Khanewal after serving at Police Station Nawan Shehr.

Inspector Muhammad Zulfiqar has been transferred from the DIB Branch at the DPO Office and posted as SHO Police Station Nawan Shehr, while Inspector Usman Raza has been appointed SHO Police Station Sadar Kabirwala from Nawan Shehr Police Post.

Inspector Rashid Nadeem has been transferred from Police Station City Mian Channu and posted as SHO Police Station Kacha Khuh. Sub-Inspector Ghazi Hafiz Adnan Ahmad has been appointed SHO Police Station City Mian Channu after serving at Police Station Sadar Kabirwala.

Meanwhile, Inspector Sabir Qureshi has been directed to report to Police Lines after being relieved from Police Station Kacha Khuh.

The DPO instructed the newly posted officers to ensure merit-based policing, transparency, effective action against crime and prompt redressal of public complaints. He said professional conduct and quality public service would remain the top priorities of the district police.
