DPO orders transfer of SHOs in Kohat police reshuffle

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) District Police Officer Shahbaz Ilahi on Thursday approved a series of administrative transfers in the district police, reshuffling several Station House Officers (SHOs) to new postings.

According to an official notification, SHO Saifullah has been posted to Lachi, Masood Khan has been assigned to Shakardarra, while Noor Muhammad has been directed to assume charge at Jungle Khel. Other officers, including Jabar Khan, have also been transferred to different police stations across the district.

Officials said the reshuffle is part of routine administrative measures aimed at strengthening policing and improving law and order in Kohat. The changes are intended to enhance operational efficiency and ensure better public service delivery at police station level.
