CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th May, 2026) District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif on Tuesday listened to public complaints and issues during an open court held at the DPO office, directing officers concerned to ensure prompt resolution of citizens’ applications within the stipulated timeframe.

During the session, the DPO instructed relevant officers to properly mark the applications and submit timely responses, while Complaint Cell officials were directed to actively follow up on the complaints and present detailed progress reports.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Naveed Atif said the police department was taking all possible measures to improve public service delivery in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

He said modern technology was being introduced across police stations in the district to facilitate citizens and ensure quicker handling of public grievances.

The DPO further directed field officers to treat citizens respectfully and resolve their problems on a priority basis without unnecessary delays. He emphasized that improving public trust and ensuring courteous behavior remained among the top priorities of Chiniot Police.
