DPO Kohat honours police officers for outstanding service, farewell held for promoted DSP

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Shehbaz Elahi awarded commendation certificates to SHO Jarma Iqbal Khan and SHO KDA Umar Khaliq Khan for their exceptional performance in crime control, professional conduct, and public service.

In a separate event, a farewell ceremony was held in honour of DSP Nazir Hussain, who was promoted to SP Operations and transferred to District Karak. The ceremony was attended by senior police officials, including SP Headquarters, SP City, SP Saddar, and other staff members.

DPO Shehbaz Elahi lauded DSP Nazir Hussain’s professionalism, honesty, and valuable contributions to Kohat Police, expressing confidence that he would continue his exemplary service in Karak. During the ceremony, the DPO presented a souvenir shield, while colleagues offered gifts and extended best wishes for his future responsibilities.
