DPO holds open court to address people's complaints

CHICHAWATNI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Sahiwal, Muhammad Usman Tipu on Friday held an open public hearing at the DPO Office Complaint Cell, where the people presented a range of grievances directly to the district police chief.

During the session, the DPO listened to each complaint and issued instructions on the spot to relevant officers for the prompt resolution of the issues .

Addressing participants, Tipu said that the timely, transparent and fair redress of public complaints was the police's foremost responsibility.

He said the purpose of the public hearings was to strengthen trust between citizens and the police while ensuring swift access to justice.

The DPO also directed the police to process all applications strictly on merit, warning that negligence or unnecessary delays in resolving complaints would not be tolerated.
