DPO holds open court

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq held an open court at the DPO Complex to directly hear complaints and issues of citizens.

A large number of citizens attended the session and presented their concerns before the DPO who listened to the complainants attentively and issued on-the-spot directions to the relevant officers for transparent and prompt legal action.

He assured the participants that all applications would be processed on a priority basis and that merit and justice would be upheld in every case.

The DPO said that the purpose of holding the open court was to strengthen trust between the public and the police, ensure timely redressal of grievances and further promote positive and practical changes in police culture.
