DPO holds crime review meeting in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat Akhtar Farooq chaired a crime review meeting with officers of the Saddar and City circles to review the law and order situation, crime trends and police performance.

According to official sources, the meeting was attended by DSPs and SHOs of the concerned police stations.

The participants reviewed overall police performance, the crime situation and progress on the investigation of pending cases.

The DPO directed the officers to further intensify efforts against serious crimes, proclaimed offenders and habitual criminals. He also instructed them to ensure effective policing and take all necessary measures to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
