DPO conducts surprise visit to PS Hathala, reviews alertness

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO), Ziauddin Ahmed carried out a surprise visit to Hathala Police Station and Tariq Shaheed check post to assess the law and order situation and evaluate the alertness and performance of police personnel.

During his visit to Hathala Police Station, the DPO examined the daily diary register and other official records, directing staff to ensure that all entries are properly maintained and up to date.

He also reviewed the strength of the deployed personnel, checked their attendance, and inspected duty schedules.

Ziauddin Ahmed conducted a detailed inspection of the police station’s boundary wall, security bunkers, and outer protective arrangements to identify and address any potential security gaps.

A similar review was carried out at the Tariq Shaheed check post to ensure effective security measures were in place.

Addressing the officers and personnel present on the occasion, the DPO emphasized the need for maximum alertness in view of the prevailing security situation. He made it clear that negligence in duty would not be tolerated and instructed officers to strictly adhere to established security protocols.

He stated that the Primary responsibility of the police is to safeguard the lives and property of citizens, directing personnel deployed at check posts to maintain strict surveillance on suspicious individuals and activities.
