DPO Attock held an open court at Saddar Police Station

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Attock Sardar Mavarhan Khan held an open court (khuli kachehri) at Saddar Police Station on Monday to hear public complaints, in line with the Punjab government’s open-door policy and directives of the Inspector General of Police.

A large number of citizens attended the session and presented their grievances related to policing and law enforcement. The DPO listened to each complaint and issued on-the-spot instructions to the relevant officers for prompt resolution.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Khan said that direct engagement with the public was essential to ensure timely redressal of issues.

He added that addressing citizens’ concerns as a priority and improving service delivery remained among his key responsibilities.

He said that such open courts were an effective means of bridging the gap between the police and the public, and warned that negligence in handling public complaints would not be tolerated.

The DPO also directed officers to treat complainants with respect and ensure transparency and merit in resolving cases. He reiterated that Attock police were committed to safeguarding lives and property and would continue efforts to maintain law and order.
