DPM Dar, Maldives Foreign Minister reiterate unwavering support for legitimate rights, just cause of Palestinian people

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday met Foreign Minister of Maldives, Abdulla Khaleel, on sidelines of the OIC Executive Committee meeting in Jeddah.

During the meeting, both the leaders reiterated their unwavering support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the just cause of Palestine, a DPM's Office news release said.

The two leaders reaffirmed the strong and brotherly ties between Pakistan and the Maldives and expressed commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
