District steering committee meets to review departments' performance

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2026) A meeting of district steering committee, South Waziristan Upper met to review various district affairs and the performance of relevant departments.

Deputy Commissioner Asmatullah Wazir chaired the meeting, which was attended by the additional deputy commissioner (General), assistant commissioner Sarwakai, assistant additional commissioner revenue, district education officers (male and female), district monitoring officer (EMU), additional district education officers (male and female), and a representative of the Executive Engineer (XEN).

During the meeting, participants held detailed discussions on educational activities in the district as well as other important district matters and the challenges being faced.

The meeting was also briefed on the ongoing activities and performance of various departments.

On this occasion, the DC directed the relevant officials to ensure the provision of better facilities to the citizens in accordance with government policy and emphasized that all departments should perform their responsibilities effectively.

He also stressed the need to promote effective coordination and communication among all departments at the district level to further improve the resolution of Masse'issues and the implementation of development and administrative affairs.
