SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th May, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Headquarters Muhammad Arshad Wattoo on Monday chaired a meeting of the District Registration Committee for Private Schools to review the registration status of educational institutions across the district.
The committee scrutinized 114 applications, of which 106 were approved for further processing after being found complete, while the remaining were returned due to technical deficiencies.
The cases included 15 Primary, 59 middle and 40 secondary schools.
Officials from the education Department attended the meeting along with private schools’ representative Irfan Chaudhry and parents’ representative Muhammad Akram.
The ADC directed officers concerned to expedite the disposal of pending cases, stressing that the registration process should not face unnecessary delays.
He also emphasized that each campus must be registered separately to ensure effective monitoring and compliance with government regulations.
The committee further decided to initiate legal action against unregistered schools operating in the district to bring them under the formal regulatory framework.
