District Health Officer reviews facilities in newly-established Tump District

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2026) Acting on the directives of Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar and Health Secretary Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panzai, District Health Officer (DHO) Tamp Dr. Noroz Yaqoob conducted visits to various health centers in the newly established district to assess medical facilities, staff attendance, and services being provided to the public.

During inspections of RHC Nazarabad and CD Konshqlat, Dr. Yaqoob checked staff presence, medicine stocks, OPD services, patient records, and other departments. He instructed officials and staff to ensure timely and improved healthcare delivery to the people.

Dr. Yaqoob emphasized that the Health Department’s foremost priority is to strengthen healthcare facilities in remote areas so that citizens do not face difficulties in accessing treatment. He further announced that, through his efforts, approval has been secured under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) for the construction of two additional rooms at RHC Nazarabad. This development will provide enhanced facilities for both patients and medical staff.

Health Department officials hailed the move as a significant step toward strengthening the basic healthcare infrastructure in the district.
