The District Administration has established more than 20 heatwave relief camps across the district to mitigate the impact of rising temperatures.

According to a handout, these camps, set up with the support of NGOs, philanthropists, the health department and rescue 1122, are providing essential services including cold drinking water and basic medical assistance to the public.

The initiative aims to ensure timely relief and safeguard citizens during the ongoing heatwave conditions.
