District admin reclaims prime state land worth Rs 23 m in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) The district administration reclaimed 12.5 marla of valuable state-owned commercial land worth approximately Rs 23 million during an anti-encroachment operation conducted here on Fort road.

According to details, Assistant Commissioner Dera Syed Muhammad Arslan, accompanied by the Tehsildar Dera, carried out the operation against illegal occupation of provincial government property situated along Fort road.

The administration successfully retrieved the land from unlawful possession after taking action at the site. The officials said the reclaimed property holds significant commercial value due to its prime location, with its current market price estimated at around Rs 23 million.

The district administration reiterated its commitment to continuing operations against illegal encroachments on government land across the district.
