District admin establishes Ramazan Dastarkhwan for travelers, deserving in DIKhan

On the directives of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, special Iftar and Sehar Dastarkhwan have been arranged at various locations across the district of Dera Ismail Khan during the holy month of Ramazan, facilitating a large number of fasting people on a daily basis

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) On the directives of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, special Iftar and Sehar Dastarkhwan have been arranged at various locations across the district of Dera Ismail Khan during the holy month of Ramazan, facilitating a large number of fasting people on a daily basis.

According to the district administration, the Dastarkhwan have been set up in different tehsils to provide quality Iftar and Sehar meals to travelers, deserving individuals and other fasting citizens.

In Tehsil Dera Ismail Khan, the arrangements have been made at District Headquarters Hospital Dera, Mufti Mehmood Memorial Hospital, the Government Shelter Home (Panahgah), Women Hospital, and near Dera–Darya Khan Bridge on the inter-provincial route.

In Tehsil Paharpur, the facilities have been established at Rangpur and Chashma (inter-provincial route), while in Tehsil Paroa, the main Paroa Bazaar has been selected for the purpose.

Similarly, in Tehsil Darazinda, the Dastarkhwan has been arranged at Aman Mela on the inter-provincial highway to facilitate commuters and transporters.

The district administration stated that the initiative aims to ensure relief and convenience for the public during Ramazan, adding that all arrangements are being monitored to maintain cleanliness, quality of food and smooth distribution of meals.
