District admin Abbottabad oversee transparent auction process at fruit and vegetable market

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Mar, 2026) Additional Assistant Commissioner Kamran Ali Shah, accompanied by officials from the food Department and representatives of traders, supervised the auction process and price determination at the Fruit and Vegetable Market in Salhad.

All stages of the auction were closely monitored to ensure transparency. Buyers were heard in detail, while the bidding process of sellers was carefully observed to prevent any irregularities.

After reviewing current market trends and assessing demand and supply conditions, the official price list was prepared through mutual consultation and formally signed.

The district administration stated that practical measures are continuously being implemented to provide relief to the public and to maintain price stability from the wholesale market to retail outlets.

Citizens have been urged to report complaints regarding prices of essential commodities to the district control room or the Price Monitoring Desk established at the market.
