Director livestock reviews arrangements at cattle sale point

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Director Livestock Dr Haidar Ali Khan visited the temporary cattle sale point established at Jandanwala Dhanola to review arrangements and veterinary facilities being provided for Eid-ul-Azha.

During visit, he conducted a detailed inspection of the veterinary services, administrative affairs and overall arrangements made at the sale point for traders, livestock farmers and citizens visiting the cattle market.

The director reviewed staff attendance, tick-spray activities, availability of medicines, veterinary examination of animals and cleanliness arrangements.

He also inspected facilities related to the provision of water and fodder as well as measures being taken to ensure the health and safety of animals.

Dr Haidar Ali Khan also met cattle traders and informed them about the facilities and veterinary services being provided by the Livestock Department at the temporary sale point.
