DIKhan Police pay tribute to martyrs, visit families on Eid

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2026) District Police Dera Ismail Khan paid rich tribute to martyrs by visiting their families on the occasion of Eid, reaffirming their commitment to support and honor the sacrifices rendered for peace.

On the directions of District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmad, a police delegation led by SP Paharpur Division Iqbal Khan , DSP Paharpur Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, and DSP Headquarters Sharifullah Khan visited the homes of martyrs in Paharpur, Paniala and Bandkorai. Officials of local police stations and In-charge Martyrs Desk Malik Muhammad Imran also accompanied the delegation.

During the visits, police officers met with the families of the martyrs, expressed solidarity, and participated in Eid celebrations with them.

SP Paharpur Division also interacted warmly with the children of the martyrs and distributed Eid gifts (Eidi), sharing in their festive moments.

Special prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, while their unparalleled sacrifices for maintaining peace and security were paid glowing tribute.

Speaking on the occasion, DSP Paharpur Hafiz Muhammad Adnan said that Dera Ismail Khan Police would never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs, terming them as true heroes who laid down their lives to ensure law and order.
