ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq on Tuesday chaired an important meeting regarding the performance of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee (ADRC), attended by ADRC Chairman Tayyab Nawaz Malik and other committee members.
An official told APP that the meeting conducted a detailed review of the ADRC’s performance and discussed measures to make the system more effective, active, and public-friendly through mutual consultation.
DIG Tariq emphasis was laid on prioritizing pending cases and ensuring timely redressal of public complaints to provide relief to citizens without delay.
DIG Tariq appreciated the committee’s performance and directed members to resolve public issues with transparency, fairness, and professionalism.
He said effective implementation of the reconciliation mechanism would not only reduce the burden on courts but also strengthen trust between citizens and police.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to promote community policing and utilize all available resources to ensure speedy and accessible justice for the public.
