DIG Tariq , DG Safe City review security arrangements at G-6 Imambargah

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and Director General Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joiya, along with senior police officers, visited the G-6 Imambargah to review security arrangements for the procession route.

An official told APP on Tuesday that the senior officers inspected the security arrangements along the procession route and issued instructions to ensure effective deployment of personnel and foolproof security measures.

They directed the officers on duty to remain vigilant and perform their responsibilities with dedication to maintain law and order during the procession.

The officials also said that the procession would be continuously monitored through Safe City cameras to ensure timely response and effective surveillance.

DIG Tariq reiterated that Islamabad Police were taking all necessary steps to ensure the safety of participants and maintain peace in the Federal capital.
