DIG Sukkur Issues directives to maintain Law & Order on Jumat-ul-Wida

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) DIG Sukkur/Larkana Range, Nasir Aftab Khan on Friday issued directives to all SSPs in the Sukkur and Larkana ranges to maintain law and order on Jumat-ul-Wida, following instructions from Home Minister Sindh, Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar.

The directives include contacting ulema and informing them of government measures, taking them into confidence to maintain peace, and promoting mutual cooperation.

Any negligence or laxity from officials will not be tolerated.

All available resources will be utilized to protect public life and property. Displaying arms during public gatherings and rallies will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against those doing so.

No leniency will be shown to those disrupting peace and order or violating the law. The 33rd Provincial Apex Committee has decided to take strict action against those displaying arms.
