DIG Hazara honuors Abbottabad police officers for outstanding service

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2026) The Deputy Inspector General of Police Hazara, Nasir Mehmood Satti Thursday distributed certificates of appreciation and cash awards to Abbottabad police officers and personnel in recognition of their exceptional professional services.

The ceremony was held at the Regional Office Abbottabad, with participation from officers and staff across the district.

During the event, awards were presented to SP Cantt Ali Hamza Butt, SSP Traffic Muhammad Ishtiaq Khan, SP Havelian Jamil-ur-Rahman, DSP Mirpur Sardar Shaheen, DSP Cantt Sardar Tahir Saleem, DSP Havelian Sajid Farooq, DSP Traffic Sardar Wajid, and other officers and personnel.

Addressing the participants, DIG Nasir Mehmood Satti emphasized the importance of serving the public with dedication, saying, “Performing our duties with sincerity and a spirit of serving people is equivalent to an act of worship. Officers should treat visitors at police offices and stations courteously, listen to their concerns, and ensure issues are resolved according to the law.”

He further added that the Hazara police consistently encourages and recognizes officers and personnel who deliver efficient public service and uphold justice in the district.
