DIG Haroon reviews Safe City expansion work, directs improvements in material quality

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Director General Safe City/Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya inspected the material being used in the ongoing Safe City Expansion Project and issued directions for necessary improvements.

An official told APP on Wednesday that the DIG visited project sites and conducted a detailed review of the quality and standards of material being utilized.

Haroon Joiya directed the contractor to ensure use of high-quality material and make required changes where needed.

DIG Haroon Joiya emphasized that no compromise would be made on quality and all work must meet prescribed standards.

He said the project aimed at enhancing surveillance and security infrastructure in the Federal capital.
