DI Khan Central Jail's security reviewed

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jul, 2026) SP Headquarters Jalil Imran Ghilzai visited Central Jail Dera Ismail Khan to review its security arrangements as part of efforts to strengthen prison security and inter-agency coordination.

The visit was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed. SP Ghilzai was accompanied by District In-charge Special Branch Sub-Inspector Taimur Khan.

During the visit, the police team met Superintendent Jail Ejaz Mehsud, who briefed them on the prison's overall security framework, existing protective measures, coordination mechanisms for handling sensitive situations, and other operational matters.

The delegation also inspected the jail's internal and external security arrangements, reviewed emergency response preparedness, and discussed measures to further enhance security.

At the end, the officials reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring foolproof security at Central Jail Dera Ismail Khan through close coordination and cooperation among all relevant departments.
