DG NAB listens to 450 complaints at open court

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore Director General Mirza Faran Baig on Thursday chaired a monthly open public hearing and listened to complaints of citizens, promising prompt redress and strict action against those involved in corruption and fraud.

According to NAB officials, around 450 individuals attended the open court, with a majority of complaints pertaining to fraudulent housing schemes and cheating cases.

The complaints were mainly related to projects including Anaya Grand Mall, For U Real, Omega Residencia, Al-Noor Orchard, Al Jalil Garden, Future Vision, Bismillah Garden, Khayaban-e-Amin, Ahmed Rice Mill, Sarmayadari, Pak-Arab Housing Scheme, Palm Vista and Unique Solar.

During the hearing, the DG, along with senior officers, reviewed each case in detail and directed the relevant wings to take immediate and effective action on the complaints.

He reiterated NAB’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of citizens and ensuring provision of justice, in line with the vision of the Chairman NAB against corruption and public deception.

Mirza Faran warned that individuals involved in corruption and defrauding the public would face strict legal consequences.

Participants appreciated NAB Lahore’s initiative, terming the open court an effective platform for timely resolution of public grievances.
