DG NAB Lahore holds monthly open court

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Director General National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore, Mirza Faran Baig, on Friday, presided over the monthly open court (Khuli Kutchehri) at NAB Lahore, where he directly heard public complaints and issued directions for their prompt redress.

A total of 186 complainants attended the session, the majority of whom were affectees of illegal and fraudulent housing schemes. Most complaints were related to various private housing projects, including Al Jalil Garden, Al-Noor Orchard, Omega Residencia, Future Vision, Al Rehman Garden Phase-IV, Khayaban-e-Amin, Eden Housing, Pak-Arab Housing Scheme, Zaitoon City, Elite Town, Le Villa De Paris Housing Scheme and Palm Vista, among others.

The DG NAB Lahore listened to the grievances of the affectees and issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned officers for expeditious disposal of cases. Relevant directors also heard the complaints and assured necessary action for resolution of issues.

Faran Baig reiterated NAB’s commitment under the vision of Chairman NAB and the zero-tolerance policy against public fraud, vowing strict legal action against elements involved in deceiving citizens. He emphasized provision of transparent justice to the victims.

The participants appreciated NAB Lahore’s initiative of holding the open court and termed it an effective platform for timely redressal of public grievances.
