DG FIA awards CC-1 certificates to Skardu officers for bravery, swift response

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Director General, (DG) Federal Investigation Agency, (FIA) Dr Usman Anwar, awarded CC-1 certificates to two personnel of FIA Composite Circle Skardu in recognition of their bravery, professionalism and timely response during incidents occurred on March 1.

An official told APP on Wednesday that the officers, Ashraf Hussain and Imtiaz Hussain, were called to FIA Headquarters Islamabad and honoured for their outstanding services.

Ashraf Hussain demonstrated prompt and effective action, protecting government property at the FIA circle and successfully controlling the situation.

Imtiaz Hussain played a responsible role by thwarting an attempt by miscreants to set a private college building on fire, ensuring protection of assets.

DG FIA Dr Usman Anwar appreciated the officers’ professionalism, courage, sense of duty and quick response.

DG remarked that such actions strengthen the institution’s credibility and enhance public trust in the rule of law.

He added that FIA would continue to encourage and recognize officers for exemplary performance.

At the conclusion, both officers were presented CC-1 certificates in recognition of their services.
