Development, beautification projects reviewed in Kasur

KASUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) In line with the vision of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, development works across the district are being accelerated, said Deputy Commissioner Kasur Muhammad Asif Raza while chairing a review meeting on Wednesday.

The meeting reviewed progress on beautification initiatives and ongoing development schemes in the district. Officials presented updates on the establishment and upgradation of public parks in Munir Shaheed Park, Khudian, Kanganpur and Chunian.

During the session, progress reports were also presented on major projects including DPS Allahabad and Pattoki, the Allahabad Bypass and the Allahabad Trauma Center.

A detailed briefing was further given on the upgradation of Hunjaray Kalan sports Ground and Thah Sheikhm Sports Complex.

Officers from relevant departments attended the meeting and briefed the deputy commissioner on the status of the ongoing development projects. The meeting also reviewed initiatives aimed at improving public facilities and enhancing urban beautification across the district.

The deputy commissioner directed the concerned authorities to expedite construction and upgradation work on parks so that citizens could be provided with improved recreational facilities at the earliest.
