Dera police arrest three-member dacoit gang, recover eight stolen motorcycles in DI Khan

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) Dera Police in the Paroa Circle area of Dera Ismail Khan arrested three members of an alleged dacoit gang and recovered eight stolen motorcycles during a successful operation, officials said on Saturday.

According to police, the action was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed under the supervision of SP City Division Muhammad Nauman Khan and DSP Paroa Imran Ullah Khattak.

The police team led by SHO Gomal University Police Station Cadet Zafar Abbas arrested three suspects identified as Muhammad Shafiq, Muhammad Tauseef and Muhammad Alam during the crackdown against criminal elements.

Police said the accused were wanted in 15 different cases registered at Gomal University Police Station, including robbery, theft, motorcycle snatching and other offences.

During the operation, police recovered eight motorcycles, including Honda CD-70, Honda 125 and Chinese models, along with three transformer coils allegedly stolen by the suspects.

DSP Imran Ullah Khattak said operations against criminal elements would continue without discrimination to maintain law and order in the district.
