Deputy Commissioner reviews progress of beautification and development projects in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Wednesday chaired an important review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing beautification and development schemes across the district, directing all concerned departments to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and transparency.

The meeting was attended by officials from relevant government departments, representatives of municipal committees, and officers overseeing various development initiatives. Participants were given a detailed briefing on urban beautification projects, road repair and rehabilitation works, green belt improvement, tree plantation campaigns, sanitation measures, and efforts aimed at enhancing public facilities.

While reviewing the pace of work, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that city beautification and the provision of improved civic amenities remain among the district administration’s top priorities.

She instructed the concerned authorities to accelerate cleanliness and beautification efforts around major roads, public squares, parks, and government buildings to provide residents with a cleaner, greener, and more pleasant environment.

Ayesha Rizwan also stressed the importance of the transparent utilization of development funds and continuous monitoring of all ongoing projects. She warned that negligence or unnecessary delays in public welfare schemes would not be tolerated and directed all departments to work in close coordination to achieve the desired results.

The meeting concluded with the issuance of further instructions aimed at ensuring the effective implementation and timely completion of development and beautification initiatives across the district.
